WE ARE PREPARING FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS
Mykolaiv training center of seafarers ( MTCS ) was established on February 14, 2005, with the aim of preparing, retraining and upgrade training of officers and ratings working on Ukrainian and foreign sea and river vessels.
These days the center carries out training and education of seafarers in 36 directions comply with requirements of STCW. It provides training for crewmembers working on inland waterways, navigators of small craft and qualified personnel in marine professions. The center also conducts course training of welders for work at sea and onshore.
Training and education of seamen and water transport specialists is conducted in modern equipped rooms - simulators, specialized classrooms, laboratories and training complexes.
Training classrooms and training facilities for organizing the educational process in the training of seafarers and water transport specialists comply with requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Convention STCW 78/95, as amended, and national requirements.
Training course curricula are based on the recommendations of IMO standard model courses and international standards approved in accordance with the established procedure.
The teaching staff and instructors of our center have a great practical experience in marine and river fleet vessels and high level of qualification confirmed by the relevant diplomas and certificates.
To ensure the high quality of training, MTCS has a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 9001: 2015 certified by the Shipping Register of Ukraine and Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS.
Practical classes on the course training of welders are held in a specially equipped workshop on modern equipment under the guidance of an instructor who completed an internship in the EU. Upon completion of the training, certification is passed to obtain a certificate of completion of training courses in welding methods: MIG / MAG, TIG or MMA.
The center has a subdivision in the city of Zaporozhye: a separate subdivision of LLC "MTCS" in the city of Zaporozhye. The division has been operating since 2020 and is engaged in the training of drivers of small vessels.
